Grace Vineyard Church ~ Vallarta
Who are we? How did we come to be and where are we headed? What are our goals? What is our mission? Who and how do we serve?
Grace Vineyard Church started as a dream, a dream to be able to impact, reach and be a blessing to the English-speaking Community, and thus, to impact, reach and be a blessing to the Spanish-speaking/bilingual locals.
We believe Jesus called us to love God above all, and our neighbors as ourselves. Love God. Love People. Period. We look for ways to show our love for God like worship, prayer, fellowship and getting into the Word of God. We also look for ways to love our neighbor not only in word, but also in practical and tangible ways by blessing people with our actions and deeds; helping, providing, and serving to the most needed, either spiritually, emotionally and/or physically.
We don’t feel limited because of nationality, culture, social status, education, or religious background, since we know God loves all of us, and we are called to love what God loves.
We don’t preach a religion, but we preach the Gospel of Jesus, the Word of God, and call and invite anyone who wants, to come, believe, embrace, and accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.
We don’t claim to be perfect, but we know God is perfect and He loves us with perfect love and calls us to, “Come as you are,” but also, as we come to Him, He transforms us every day to become more like Jesus.
We hope to live out the gospel of Jesus throughout the week; then we gather each weekend as a way to share, celebrate, be formed, & minister to one another. We desire to partner with God in the divine pursuit to put the world to rights. Our prayer is as Jesus prayed: that the Kingdom come & God’s will be done, in Vallarta as it is in Heaven.
We believe the Church is not another sub-culture, but the making of a new humanity. It’s not a building or a weekend activity, but a group of people becoming a family.
If you live in town, or are visiting for a weekend or several weekends, come and worship with us, we will be able to fellowship, share, sing, talk and learn.
